An advantage of seeing a specialist Dermatologist for cosmetic treatments is that Dermatologists are able to give advice on other treatments that improve the appearance of the skin. As expert cosmetic doctors, we are often able to recommend combination treatment with anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, enzyme treatments and laser therapy to achieve superior outcomes. In addition, we can also prescribe other tailored topical treatments (not available to the public over-the-counter) to complement the therapies above.
We offer appointments for a detailed skin care consultation with our experienced nurses and dermal clinician. In this consultation, we will take a detailed history of your current skincare regimen and carefully examine your skin; tailoring a comprehensive skin care plan to address your specific aesthetic concerns such as wrinkle prevention, pigmentation, sun damage or acne control.
If required, additional skin care treatments may be discussed during this consultation including chemical peels, cosmetic injectable treatments or laser therapy.
Cosmetic consultations are approximately 45 minutes in duration and there is a fee of $55.00 including GST. This fee is fully redeemable on any cosmetic treatment booked and performed either on the day or within 3 months of the appointment.
**Please note – the skin care consultation is not for the diagnosis or management of medical skin problems. If you have a medical skin issue this will require a referral from your GP and a formal consultation with one of our Dermatologists.**
